Frequently Asked Questions

  • I have been running yoga retreats since 2016. All retreats I curate are immersive, intentional, and rooted in loving care for the whole being that you are.

Every itinerary is simply a suggestion — you are not required to participate in every activity if you do not desire to.

Yes, we practice yoga every day, but the experience goes far beyond the mat.

Expect nourishing food (often locally sourced and/or farm to table meals), inspiring daily practices, meaningful connection, space to rest, and time to explore beautiful places together.

It’s structured, but never rigid. Supportive, but never overwhelming.

  • Not at all.

These retreats are designed for real people, not just yoga teachers or advanced practitioners.

Whether you’re newer to the practice or have been practicing for years, you’ll be guided in a way that meets you where you are.

I have had many, many people come on retreat without ever doing a yoga class before!

  • My teaching is rooted in traditional yoga, with influences from the Ghosh lineage, as well as elements of vinyasa, pranayama, and meditation.

Our retreat practices often include a mix of strong, intentional movement in the morning time, followed by breath work, meditation, and slower, more introspective practices in the evening.

Afternoon workshops are typically offered as well, focused on topics like inversions, spine strength, hip opening, heart opening, and more.

  • Each day has a natural rhythm, usually including:

    • Morning practice

    • Breakfast followed by free time or excursions

    • Afternoon workshop and/or evening practice

    • Dinner followed by free time

    • Most venues I work with offer a full spa that is available to you anytime

There’s always space built in for rest, exploration, or simply doing nothing. As I mentioned before as well, you are in full control of your retreat.

You decide what you want to do always.

  • Yes—this is a big part of the experience.

I feel that most people have such busy lives at home that having this time to slow down on retreat is vital.

You’ll have time to explore on your own, relax, get a massage, journal, sit by the pool, and rest throughout the week.

The retreat is designed to feel full, but not rushed.

  • All of my retreats are all inclusive, the following is included:

    • Top tier accommodation

    • Daily yoga + workshops

    • Most meals (only meals not included are days at local markets when people typically want to but their own food and try many things)

    • All group excursions

    • Pre-trip support and guidance

    • Airport pick up + drop off

Flights are typically not included unless otherwise stated.

  • By default all rooms are typically double occupancy, as stated when you book the room.

There are single rooms available for an extra charge, single rooms are limited. First come, first serve.

Once rooms are locked in (usually 2 weeks prior to retreat start date) there are no further changes allowed — if you want a single room make sure to reserve that as soon as possible.

  • I send out a questionnaire that helps me set up roommates to make sure they have the most harmonious pairing.

    Questions include things like:

    • Sleep style(AC or no AC? things like that)

    • Evening habits (do you like to stay up and socialize or prefer quiet evenings)

    • Allergies

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email from my business partners, TourHero, a few minutes after booking.

From there as the retreat grows closer you will get everything you need including travel guidance, packing info, and support leading up to the trip.

Your main line of communication is a WhatsApp group you will be invited to join one month prior to retreat — this is how you contact me and my team for anything you need.

From there, you just show up.
Everything else is taken care of.
